Mitchell would really go well with the impact forwards, Jake Friend is solid and reliable but not the creative we need during the middle of the games. I would be playing him on the bench (Tasi, Takairangi, Cordner, Mitchell)

Ant's service is a lot sharper than Jake's. Jake just got player's player for the Broncos game. But this game brought home to me how much better McCulloch's service is out of dummy half. Ant was in good form and should never have been dropped in the first place. Can't remember what game it was but the only time the Roosters have looked any good this year was when he started. Bring back Ant!

I must say yesterday was about the best game I've seen friend play. Ever.

The conditions suited him, he managed to stay away from the blindside for the most part, made some very solid runs from dummy half and also made some pretty crucial tackles throughout the game. He did make a pretty poor miss in the first half getting caught flatfooted by a runner back on the inside leading to the broncos first try, but other than that played well.

Even so, we desperately need ant mitchell coming off the bench for the final 20 mins of each half to spark our attack. With those 2 rotating hooker and morts moved to 5/8 I feel like we could actually win more games than we lose this year.

Unfortunately these things will not happen and we'll continue to struggle and likely finish bottom 3
