This seems to be all i'm hearing on here but no one is suggesting a credible replacement who isn't currently contracted to somewhere else (Stuart has origin this year before anyone tries to argue that point)... So to all those calling for smith's head straight away I would like you to put forward a credible replacement (and I won't cop the standard anything will be better than this). There is no reason to give him the sack if there isn't a replacement who can improve the team overtime otherwise you'll just be yelling for that person's head in a years time. So I would like to hear an actual plan rather than constant bitching

I'm not sure what the answer is in terms of a replacement.

But there is no better reason to give a coach the sack than when the majority of his own players can't stand him. And that is what's been going on.

There's no other way forward.

For mine he has done what was asked and that's clean the joint out. has changed the club culture from 'gettin on it and loosing every weekend' to 'just loosing every weekend'.

As said alot here the past few weeks there's no structure play, no set plays at all and when we are in opp 10 we play hot potato. And history shows Smith just does not have what it takes from this point on.

Smith and co must go before the young players get used to the constant loosing.

I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor (short term) get his hands on our roster.

Smith must go. I was at the game yesterday and just watched a replay of the game. We have no structure in attack and they scored some soft tries. Yes, the refs were terrible BUT Brisbane had half their team out; in the wet and still scored 40 points. What plays do we use week in week out apart from kick and hope? Look at Melb. Brisbane, manly,Dogs - they have certain pattens of play. We have none.
