    Sack the coach
    Sack the captain
    Sack the CEO

    JOKES.

There is no short term solution to our problems. In fact, I'm not even sure if we have any MAJOR problems. Some games you win, some games you lose. Some games you play like sh!t, some games you play great. Yes, we havent been playing well this year, but things will change. And as for this game, it was pooring with rain FFS. Plus the broncos had their full spine intact. We have never played well in the rain.

Yes, we have only won one of our last seven games, and I'm not saying that weve been performing good because we most certainly havent. But looking at the scores and remembering the games, we should have won at least half of them (vs Dragons: Creagh scores last minute, vs Warriors: Mini half knocked-out loses possesion last minute, vs Manly: Horrible call to deny mortimer under the sticks to level scores). And Finally, vs Broncos: Where we were in it with 6 minutes to go but an error from the second hit up.

Now if you think about it, if we had won all those games, which we most probably would have, we would have been 8 competition points ahead of where we are now. We actually would have been 2nd on the ladder, ahead of thee Broncos if we had won (50/50). Even if we hadnt beaten the Broncos yesterday, we still would have been in the top 8. But the problem is, we didn't win any of those games. The problem is, we can't win those close games (other than Rd 1).

And suddenly, now that we have lost 4 in a row, in which 2 of them we could have probably won, everyone on this forum is bagging the Roosters, saying we are sh!t, asking to sack the coach, the captain.

And going on to Anasta, yes he's not playing very well and yes he has lost his form and probably will never have it again, and yes he doesnt try as hard as he did with the Bulldogs or early with the ROosters, but in the end he is our captain, we have to stick by him for the rest of this year.

    2013: Year of the Rooster?

Here is the big question. Will we play better next year? Will Maloney influence us in a positive or negative way? Who will be our captain? Will our captain be better than our previous captain? Can we make the top 8? And finally: Can we win the Premiership?

All these questions have an unknown answer, but all I can say is we are a building team (no matter what anyone else says) and we will improve next year and for years to come. If you are a true fan, you will stick by them without bagging the sh!t out of them each loss.

exactly. since and including the dragons game we have been dead set unlucky to lose every single one of those games. dodgy refing in the warriors, manly games cost us big time and it didnt exactly help yesterday or against the dragons. we could be 5 on the trot

        But we're not.

Good sides block out the shit and keep pushing to win. We don't.

I'm not ready to hack at my wrists just yet like a few others on here, but the glass half full crap shits me no end. It's not even half empty.....it's bone farrken dry.

Has anyone thought that the problem might actually be something as simple as...the ballboys...mascot....cheergirls?

          No?

Ok. Like most things in life, that need an assessment, the knee jerk is for wholesale change. Resist that.
Take out the obvious problem & allow things to settle (Anasta).
If, after 3-4 games, it is still no better then you go to the next obvious problem...that to me is game plan or lack of application to that game plan. Too many times we have shown great promise only to fall back into the same silly nothing sets.....frustrating.

And yesterday's effort was the icing on the cake. Wet weather football....not rocket science, guys. Grind it out in the forwards set after set until the opportunities arise. Ball control is everything in these conditions. Our guys didn't respect the pill enough.

The problem is errors and no stucture bad 5/8.
We have solved our 5/8 problem next year but still havent solved our ad-lib game plan which is up to the coach.
SBW can also give us flare to win close games

We're becoming the 2011 Parra. Losing about 5-6 games you had in the bag.

                Yes good post.

We are all terribly disappointed that we havent won more games but there are other teams in a worse place than us.

The thing is everyone in the club is actually TRYING to get things moving in ther right direction and (with the possible exception of Braith) does not deserve the level of derision aimed at them.

We arent coaches. players or administrators...we are supporters...our role is to support. If we arent part of the solution we become part of the problem. If you cant understand that, you probably are better off spending your leisure elsewhere doing something you enjoy.

I know the majority of supporters will stick through the leaner times and not be disrespectful to those at the helm.

The loss to the Dragons took a huge toll I would say. It probably wrecked our season. Would have been heartbreaking for such a young side and subsequently they just don't have the confidence to close out the close games. Can't keep blaming bad luck.
No real solution except to keep turning up and maybe it turns around if they can jag a couple of wins.
Certainly they are putting in and don't deserve all the venom. Have seen much darker days and worse easts teams than this.
