Mickey I respect your voice. For me, I think we are really bad. Our defense, week in week out is DIABOLICAL. But I have no answers.

Ironically I thought Anasta had one of his better games. That's not to say it was a great game just better than what he's been dishing out the past six weeks. Our problem is our so-called spine. Wallace was always going to be the difference if he played well and he did. We always play crap in the rain and as soon as I heard it was bucketing down I knew we would probably lose as Wallace would control the game with his kicking. Mortimer, as much as I like him, I thought was worse than Anasta. Mini has gone backwards since signing his contract and Friend tried his hardest but just doesn't have the x-factor. Our backline was as inexpereiienced as theirs. Our forwards should have got on top of theirs but didn't and even if they did I doubt the halves would have taken advantage of it anyway without Pearce.
It was a very disappointing performance. I agree Mickey technically we were still in it at the 74th minute and had it not have been for the FPN dropped ball we may have sent it into extra time. But in all honesty I think we were really never in the match and the Broncos always looked like winning.
I just know we have played better this year than a 13th placed side, Sunday's game aside. Even Andrew Johns said on the Footy Show he can't believe we were in 13th spot considering how well we have played this year. That's from a man who hates the Roosters.

First we start winning ugly, then losing pretty(Dragons, Warriors, Manly), now were losing ugly(Cowboys, Storm, Bulldogs, Panthers, Broncos, next week vs Tigers)

we have the worst 1, 6, 9 in the comp and all three must be gone asap...the so called 'spine' is where we are dying...and props are piss week, ill disiplined and unfit. Kennedy IMO is no where near 1st grade level and is the worst starting prop in the comp....Guerra and Cordner are the only backrowers we have worth keeping, blokes like Taka and Arona are reserve graders and Maubs is lazy lazy lazy and im happy if he goes...future capt my ass. BJ to back row at Maubs' expense. We need big tall fast wingers, SKD and Moga are weapons at centre and will be awsome to see them get early ball with Maloney. The best thing this club can do is throw everything at SBW....easily the best player we will be lucky to have.

Other than leaving Maubs in the backrow, I think he will regain form, I agree with what you say. Way to many Islanders in the team.
