  • Is SBW really progress or another mistake?

The rot started when we started paying overs for Doggies rejects. Anasta, Mason, Omeley, Myles all used our club as a holiday.
We dumped Fitzy and crowned the fat Greek capatin.
We had a decent juniour half in Soward but decided to pay the marquee $$$$$ to retard son.
Bwaifftaker got rid of Carney from the 6

Unfortunately we have not learnt our lesson and are about to purchase the king of Bulldog greed........sonnny $$$

You don't win comps when your highest paid/best player is a second rower or lock. 1,6,7,9 only.

I would settle for someone in our current pack to be good. has to be the most over rated pack in the league. mistake riddled and unfit.

Anyone who thinks sbw would not add something to our pack is delusional, even if he was half the player when he originally played, he would be our best.

And if he turns out to be rubbish, then what have we really lost? Money to sign more of our under performing forwards?

EXACTLY what ive been saying OVP. A comp is not won by a single second rower.

SBW is a competitor. You would never see SBW lay down, pi55 and moan with refs. He would just smash the next thing that ran in front of him. That's why I want him here.

I now want him here. It's not my money. We need to supplement what we have. Maloney will help next year. As will a year's additional experience. SBW will teach them how to win.

We lost yesterday as our supposed marquee player is not leading us around the paddock and inspiring the other players to try harder. Words at press conferences don't win matches - actions on the field do.

I'm not slitting my wrists yet. I want Anasta playing at Newtown - notice the results when Myles and Carney were dropped last year. We just need the anchor dropped at sea.

Now, if Smith doesn't drop Anasta within the fortnight, then he must go. I've noticed Smith does have more patience than I would and I allow him the benefit of the doubt but Smith you have 2 weeks to drop Anasta before you lose my support. When is now the time to Drop Anasta?

Love or hate SBW, the bloke is a proven winner, a big game player, a match winnner

The likes of BJ, Moga and SBW hitting holes off selective maloney passes, gives me hope next year wont be too bad

SBW only bad mistake is leave his club due to massive disagreement. I don't condone his actions and as a fan I find it hard to forgive however that was then, perhaps young and stupid. Since that, he has acted professional in club and international rugby. The guy obviously is competitive. As for the boxing thing, well if there are conditions, I'm sure we will benefit from his star status. It might give the younger players an incentive to perform so I welcome his recruitment. We need to win this one before other scum beat us to that.

When you were promised x amount of dollars as a young bloke and because of the cap issues have that turned into 1/4 of what you were promised, then get offered 4x as much as your orihinal deal.

                            What else could he do.

He probably had investments in place, that he needed the promised money to pay for.

The dogs are the one's that farked up the cap, halved payments and back-ended most deal because of it.

Sure some on here have voiced they will not renew membership's if he signs.

for every one of those, 300 will join.

Something makes me think he wasn't happy that he wasn't part of the 4some that came from the Dogs back then. All that thing that he was unhappy with Mason for lying to him blah blah blah...Maybe he wanted to be a Chook all along and now that we want him, his asking us to pay big time... all my crazy speculation of course.
