Something certainly needs to be done over the current officials performances, but a walk off would not be very wise...
STOP BEING RATIONAL, it has no place here I say walk off!

We don't walk off. That's for cowards.

Anyone remember when Gus tried to get Freddy to walk the team off at Brooky?

We were up big time and had the game won before Manly came at us big time in the last 20. We got some dodgy calls and Gus was on the sideline calling him in. I think we still won.

Because Smith & Anasta have been saying for weeks after every loss that it's because of the refs, it has started to wear thin. But yesterday was a day when you could genuinely complain about the refereeing but no one wants to hear about it.

The refereeing is not what is killing the Roosters. The club is disjointed with Anasta the captain off to another team at the end of season & Anasta & the coach being so distant with each other, it's confusing the other players. There is very little discipline & accountability because everyone is just looking after themselves & shifting the blame to bad decisions that have gone against the team by the refs when realistically either Anasta should be released or Smith should resign because he does not have the final say on team selections.

That game was in 95, the year before Fittler arrived here. Not sure who was the captain that day.

The events of that day make yesterday look tame.... & yes we won that day.

Yep it was him. From memory he said that he would have refused.

I'm certain that game against Manly was in 95, it was Manly's 1st loss of the year after winning there 1st 15 games of the year.

Freddy definitely didnt join us until 96.

End of the day refs will NEVER be perfect.

I can still remember losing a GF in high school because a ref said I missed a conversion after the full-time buzzer when I really nailed it (a few mums/dads made videos proving this.)

Sure it s*cked, but end of the day calls go both ways. Against the Broncos we got a free try... Arona dropped it. The Broncos then got an obscenely unfair advantage (forget Harrigan's call... I thought Leilua was held, then that clown stripped the ball. If we didn't think he was held, we would have sent in a 2nd player from our team and it would have been an illegal strip.)

It evens out. What doesn't even out is us just being HOPELESS and having no plan. The fact we're being sore losers and blaming the refs makes it WORSE.
