As a Life Long Roosters Supporter i am EMBARRASSED that this thread would even begin.

"Moga is a Hoax"?... Moga is an 18 year old Centre that has talent, speed, strength & potential. Moga, unfortunately, arrives at first grade during the on of the most abhorrent periods of football in the fine history of this club with a USELESS 5/8th that provides no creativity and a Coach that provides no structure and you embarrass yourself by saying Moga is the Hoax.

Moga will be a superstar. But tell me; how are we nurturing his potential? Do we have a coach that provides some structure to get him the ball early? Giving him room to move, to beat defenders, hence earning praise and building his confidence. Does he have a 5/8th that commands and leads the team, that provides him with quality, early ball, creating chances for him, putting him through holes that he has creating by a wrap around or an overlap?

Think of it like this... every player has a potential rating... 100 being SUPERSTAR like G.I in his prime, 10 being Anasta & Smith... these aren't CURRENT RATINGS, but potential. Moga has the potential to be the 100... everyone has said it. But he is being CAPPED by Anasta & Smith... therefore he is only playing at a 10/100.

You are only as good as your leaders.

Example: 2010 - Todd Carney was on fire. SKD was on fire. Alot of the team, were on fire. Todd was playing at a 90/100 game most weeks - There for the players like SKD who isn't amazing by any stretch of the mind was able to play some of his best footy. Now you see him, he lacks... everything.

So stop all the bulls**t - responsibility is with the leaders. Thats why they are the leaders. To TAKE responsibility ON the field, which Anasta isn't doing, and off the field, which Smith isn't doing.

You want resolution (not just to win - coz 1 week they might play good but guarenteed it will be off the back of luck. The next week the inconsistancies will show, the lack of structure and we will lose), then you drop Anasta and Smith now. Get Jason Taylor to coach for the rest of the year, bring Morts and Killer up. Give them some structure. Teach them some PLAYS. Jason can do that. I've seen some of the backline plays that U20's have pulled off, that would make the NRL grade look like dropkicks. Fair enough, different coz nrl and u20s whatever... end of the day, the CREATIVITY will follow a good playing structure.

      Well said HEG.
Give Moga a chance. Pretty hard to be a new kid and take the ball away from the "established stars". Be patient.

First we have a comparison between a first year, 24 year old Parramatta backrower and our 18 year old centre.

Secondly we have a comparison between West's Tigers 5/8 who comes into a team on the back of six wins in a row with Benji Marshall, Aaron Woods, Adam Blair, Keith Galloway, Chris Heighington, Liam Fulton all providing him room and go forward, to our centre who comes into a team on the back of a couple of losses in a row, in a team with NOTHING!

The only thing worse about watching the Roosters play ATM is reading the turd dished up here by some of you w@nkers.
          Spot on, Good call

18 year old playing his 3rd odd game of first grade, carrying a couple of injuries, in the wet playing in a team with the worst halves pairing going around (braith, morts) that have lost 4 is a row and are completely under the pump. Youre kidding right? did it occur to you that the storm won the comp in folaus first year of first grade - ie make him look better than he actually was? How about the fact that the storm threw somewhere in the region of 150-200k at moga before he re-signed with us earlier in the year to go and play for them?

couldnt have said it better myself though I do think SKD is a better player than you are giving him credit for his flaws aside....

Probably would have been a stand-out were he to play, but just a shadow of his 2010 glory... by the same reason... Capped by the Leaders.

its hard to stand out when you not given the oppotunity, So all of you haters jump back in your holes and we will see you next year when Moga gets good services and becomes are star....but by then you will all be praising him.
Sooo true, he didn't asked to be rushed into fg...that was smithchips idea, should of & could of stay with 20s for the rest of this yr. He very talented & I've watch this kid since he was very young & next yr he'll deliver the goods.

Moga is doing fine but was given enormous expectations.
He cannot flourish under Smith and son wait till next year

I remember Phil Gould punted Nathan Blacklock after 5 games and brought in gems like Robert Miles. Let's not screw up like that again.
