IMO it'll be minimal. The sooner we accept that he's simply not gonna be punished is probably the better as there's no use letting some random grub get inside our heads.

His brigading last year was misplaced IMO. Also he got off VERY lightly for what he did to that little girl (with zero sympathy, all after taking the whole high ground over a far less serious matter with his whole 'no apology will undo the damage of calling me a monkey... do better son... blah blah blah' bullcr@p).

Doesn't matter to me if he can push a mate's wheelbarrow for a couple of days while banking $1.2m a year for it. The bloke's a massive hypocrite and coulda killed people with his actions. For him the bar's set pretty low in terms of how he could 'do better'...

That said, I almost liken it to the drama around May being released. It's all white noise that no longer matters to us. It's done... a decision has been made... we just need to accept it and move on as there's nothing else that can be done now.

Yes if I had my way Mam woulda done time and been banned from the NRL. However you've gotta remember that V'landys is more likely to ban kick-offs and dominant tackles than he is to ban a grub for driving recklessly with no license, 'a cocktail of drugs' in his system and by sheer luck not facing multiple homicides. He's a racing industry grub who only pretends to care shyte when it gives him bad media publicity. In this case the QLD media are happy to ignore all of this as they always protect their local footy team. If he lived in Sydney then he'd be faaaarked...

I thought he’d have to miss a bit of the season so they could use the compensation from the NRL salary cap, that they used to sign Hunt anyway?

The whole thing is a disgrace. The guy was on drugs, unlicensed and injured a kid. He got $850 fine, 6 months suspension and NO CONVICTION as he needs a blue card to be a role model to kids. You get $1200 for touching a mobile phone in QLD. Unbelievable

A 4 game ban seems to be the consensus for any NRL imposed suspension

Be interesting to see if the Qld Attorney General appeals this noting the comments from the QLD Deputy Premier

No conviction recorded against Spencer. Still got 8 weeks.

Some people are very lucky with the results they get from court.

Mark my words the NRL will put him out for double the time Spencer got.
And it still won’t be long enough.

How does society improve if we allow people to get away with this sort of rubbish? I am talking about Ezra, the police and the Judge. A six month suspension when he has no licence is insulting to both human and primate intelligence.
Humans are primates. So are monkeys.

Former rugby league prop Zane Tetevano will spend at least nine months behind bars for a series of attacks on a former girlfriend.
Tetevano, 24, pleaded guilty last year to eight charges, including destroying property, common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
At a hearing at Newcastle Local Court on Thursday, magistrate Ian Cheetham sentenced the former front-rower to 18 months in jail with a minimum non-parole period of nine months for the attacks, which began in 2013.
Tetevano had his contract torn up by the Manly Sea Eagles in December following his guilty pleas and hasn't played in the NRL since.
He was earlier let go by the Newcastle Knights after pleading guilty to smashing a taxi windscreen.
It's only worse because precious 'monkey boy' should have been charged with a truckload of offences. Those lenient charges he received are beyond belief.

No, he (Ezra) didn't assault anyone but what (physical and psychological) damage has he done to the three victims? Seat belt burns and a fractured hip to a 4-year-old girl. Where was the charge of grievous bodily harm? The law could have thrown the book at this pretentious wanker but there's obviously something going on in the background; brown paper bags?

The uber driver's car is a write off. Has he been compensated and has someone else paid for his counselling?

Not holding my breath for the NRL to do the right thing.

The Attorney General is talking common sense. The whole ruling is a disgrace. I still can’t get my head around it.

The whole saga has the stench of a Bronco turd.
The Ch9 Broncos and the NRL/Media partnership have obviously silenced the victims otherwise there would be a bombardment of tabloid media coverage which the NRL/media thrives on drama for 30 weeks of a regular season.
