I'm surprised at his charges, I read that the little girl suffered a broken hip so in that case you'd think he would get charged with GBH (or whatever the QLD equivalent to a car accident causing injury is) but who knows, I didn't follow the case too closely so I don't know if that report was fake news but from the charges he has he probably won't even have a conviction recorded.

This was not an accident... you confessed to negligent driving occasioning actual bodily harm... so why do you now tell me this was an accident and not negligent driving? How can I trust anything else you tell me now?'

Granted he's not likely to work in an industry that's gonna care. However the ones I'm thinking about don't appreciate people giving incomplete answers or obscuring facts. One would be better off coming clean and showing remorse.

Haven't read all the comments and don't know is this has been mentioned. But did you see the news grab of Sandon leaving court being hounded by media. And one asked a question along the lines of " Sandon do you think its a good look for an athlete to cause injury to another person"....Seriously??

1. Negligent Driving Causing GBH - 2 Year Conditional Release Order

2. Drug and unlicenced driving and failing to maintain control of a vehicle

On face value Number 2 looks like the lesser incident if not knowing the full details.

The Broncos have nothing to do with Sandon Smith they're two separate incidents happening in two different states and Sandon Smith isn't getting suspended by the NRL because the Broncos are going to point at him and say that he should be suspended

What Mams court verdict and the NRL decide on Mam are separates.
If the court decide to go hard it likely the NRL will go soft but what’s certain that whatever the NRL decides eitherway it won’t be truly about Mam but more the case of how much revenue can be made by the media which the NRL get a percentage. The media and NRL have had weeks to figure out plan A and B.
