I hope you weren't expecting him to walk straight back into our pack!!

So how did he go with the Jets last weekend, how many minutes did he play? I don't imagine the muddy surface would have been ideal for dodgy knees, so if he came through OK after plenty of minutes, then that's a great sign that he's getting some fitness back, I know many on here were just hoping he made it through the game without further injury!

The smile on his face after getting through the game on Saturday was worth a million bucks. I'm really happpy for the kid. I hope he just keeps getting through the games with the Jets and eventually, hopefully, by the end of the year he gets a run in 1st Grade and kills it. So much promise and so much time on the sidelines. He would be a fantastic success story for rugby league if he pulls through and lives up to the potential. I really hope we can be patient with him and also him with us.Member 2008 - forever

He played right second row for 30 mins in the middle of the game when Wenty had all their field position. He only made about 4 runs for about 35m and maybe 12 tackles but one or two important ones. No offloads from him but that might take some time. Didn't look tentative at all imo and only had his left knee strapped even though he's done both which is a good sign. Probably bring him back slowly, I'd say he will play in Parkes but won't get any more than 30 mins again. At least he has the patellar graft in both knees now, painful as hell during rehab but the knee stability you get and the level of performance you can get back to is much better than the hamstring graft or LARS options.
