They won on pure luck. High kicks can go anywhere and Storm made too many errors including kicking out on the full. Storm just kept dropping the ball giving riff possession and good field position. A Melbourne loss more than a riff win. I believe Storm played a ‘rooster style’ game which is why they lost. Errors beat them.

Coach of the Year's team was hopeless tonite.
I lost track of how many mistakes they made.
In the washup, Bellamy's team didn't do much better than Robbo's team did against the Panthers.

Melbourne lost...very well beaten in every facet of the game.
I wanted the Storm to win.

While I understand high completions, kicking to corners and amazing defense etc is a skill, I find Penrith so boring to watch

Great game, Melbourne in hindsight will be disappointed they didn’t play more footy but credit to the Panthers they drained so much of the Storm’s energy in that first half.

Melbourne were awful, and Penrith did everything right. There was that dud call on Howarth’s ‘no try’ but they had ample time left to win.

Unfortunately Penrith are the best team I’ve ever had the misfortune to watch. Step above any other team.

Melba copped a few absolute roughies but that Riff side are simply too good.

Im certain there’s gotta be something not quite above board out there. The water isn’t that different to anywhere else in Aus.

As I predicted Penrith would win as they are too relentless and their Boa Constrictor game is what it takes to win premierships.

Isaah Yeo is a freak, doesn’t stop in defence or attack.

should go down as one of the best locks in the game.

Been saying that for a few years now.

                      If only he wore RW&B.

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Melbourne were not allowed to play their footy as Penrith's Boa constrictor game nullified that and is what it takes to win premierships.

That was a dead set try that Melbourne scored which was robbed. Daylight robbery. Could have changed the whole complexion of the game.

Now just imagine we were Penrith and Penrith were Melbourne. I effin guarantee the ch 9 commentators would be talking about nothing but that incident and showing the incident ad nauseum and tomorrows papers would have ‘BUNKER WINS IT FOR ROOSTERS’ as screaming headlines.

This is what I meant by my opening post. Since it’s Penrith and not the latte sipping Eastern Suburbs, there will not be one iota of focus on that incident. They will get a total free ride in the press.

                              Great game!

Penrith play the long game which unfortunately isn't in our current playing system.

                              My top 3.

                              1. Yeo
                              2. Martin
                              3. Cleary

A number bag Coach Robinson on here but even Coach Bellamy as Coach of the Year and Storm as Minor Premiers couldn't beat Penrith tonight. - Storm have the best so called spine in the NRL and they failed to produce the goods to win the game.
