What Johns says is 100% true. I have said before, Robbo tries to create the aura that is the Roosters, and that we are so different to the other clubs - and using all his stupid catch phrases in interviews.

He will be under pressure for sure next year.

You reckon some of the players are off him ?? The poor defense against the Storm points to this. It appeared Munster walked over the line for the last try of the night. Have a look at Radley's non attempt tackle on Pap's when Coates takes the ball on the full and they run 90 metres to score - (plus Young's s hit attempt). A deadset horrific performance by the team.

24-0 and came back vs Penrith - Should have been 24-16 and game on

22-6 and came back vs Storm - 24-18 - Storm converted try to take them to 30 was not only a knock on but should have been a penalty to the Roosters - took the wind out of their sails - An earlier Storm try was off a forward pass and not picked up.

I did hear the ref ruled Radley and another Roosters player offside on Papenhuyzen's run from the 7 tackle set ?

Nothing to read into it - Always up against it against 2 pretty good sides one has to say - they finished 1 and 2 for a reason.

Just need to be better across the 80 minutes

Thing is with the players gone and 2 not returning till well into the season......I guess there's an excuse for doing shite.

But the Bellamy's and Cleary's can really develop players. They can lose troops and still be competitive. That's one sign of a good coach

Like it or not, we're not in that league. Does Robbo need better assistants. Remember when we had Dean Pay....we had a wall.

No comparison at all—Eggs posts the same stuff time and time and time again. - Is he Les with another profile? Les was also Waterboy and a few others who also posted the same stuff time and time and time again about Coach Robinson

Nothing wrong with opinions or having a different option and also contradicting opinions posted on here—it's known as debating. Cue Ball Head says it's commo when his take is that others should not have alternative opinions the same as you do , which is commo. He needs to get a wig to cover that bald head as summer approaches. Slip slop and slap may not work.

Unless there are some spectacular off season signings our side, with Walker and Brandon Smith missing most of the season and the departure of 4 key players (JWH, Manu, Keary, Suallii) will definitely not be in serious contention in 2025.

Apart from being very good sides, Melbourne and pemriff and their coaching staff don't consider they have the luxury of choosing to not lay down for penalties at the slightest suggestion of foul play. Or continually running off the line offside in defence until the referee gets sick of penalising them; or having defenders stand in the way of dummy halves holding their hands up as if its not deliberate; or getting up and playing the ball a metre to the side of the tackle, thereby making the markers "offside". Or a myriad of other cheating tactics that you would think with their strength and abilities they wouldn't need to employ.

Or rubbing an opposition prop out of an entire 80 minute game, knowing that such an illegal tackle although worthy of a send off during the regular season will not be met with enough courage by the ref to do so.

No, they are prepared to do absolutely anything required to win at all costs.

Not sure why Robbo thinks being a nice guy will get results. Or stop him and our club being hated both media, other teams' supporters and the refs/NRL.

Had Collins not played the ball the wrong way the other night we wouldn't have even got a penalty.

Robbo you have a lot of problems on your hands - at the very least please quit the nice guy/roosters footy we will not lay down BS.

Do what Bellamy and Ivan do - whatever it takes.

Oh, and find a half who can kick the footy more than 20 metres.

Come on Nick, it's time. You know it, I know it, Ricky knows it, Ivan knows it, Bellyache knows it. It's Time Nick.
On paper everyone says we are the best team, but something ain't right. What used to work doesn't work anymore. We need a change.

Not true - who's trying to pass the "misinformation" bill?

Making fun of bald heads - you probably think it's a "hate crime" though to make fun of your inept leader's saliva spraying speethhhch impedddimnnt.

The main hope for me for 2025 is none of the departing players really stood out this year
jwh is a loss but missed a lot of the end of the year
Keary he nowhere near where he was pre acl and showed a liability in defence on the weekend
                      Manu was not interested
Suaali didn’t know how to play centre to the last month or 2 and would have been behind Billy smith
sitili - we have plenty of backrowers and not on our top 17 all year

and then Brendon smith is hit and miss
but I agree we need to make some signings soon

No one on this forum gives a toss about the Atlanta Braves.
I’d rather slap my nuts between two bricks than watch boring baseball.

Well if you are into that type of thing above that's your vice and I assume not many others - quite weird to even think about doing that one has to say

Quite a few do watch and follow MLB. and know how tough that season is—162 game regular season and especially the travel involved.

When the Roosters went overseas for those World Club Challenge matches, they tapped into how the top football teams in Europe go about things—why would they do that?—obviously a study tour component to learn new things that could be implemented in a Rugby League Club.

Obviously clueless on how cross-pollination of ideas and skills between sports can be beneficial irrespective of the sport played.

Nathan Cleary pinpoints the improvement in his kicking game as a result of kicking sessions he had with Richmond Tigers AFL Captain Trent Cochin in pre-season for the 2020 season.

(Sigh) no rest assured I'm just me.

Trouble is comrade you don't seem to appreciate
different opinions unless they align with yours.

You yourself defend over & over again rubbish results from Robbo with no alternative solutions.

You are Robbo's parrot defender. You fly the white flag too easily. Your happy for a guy to get paid good coin for crap results.

You seem to accept a woeful 1 - 24 record against two teams whose coaches play Robbo like a fiddle. Those 2 finals games were embarrassing. Robbo's out of ideas.

I've told you my solution...its proactive compared to your mediocre "she'll be right, Robbo might come good one day"

Is that the take you have with all of the losses in Robbo's 1 - 24 record against them the last 5yrs.

News flash!! They own Robbo, he's got nothing, he cant come up with anything to change that record..

I will keep on this until we start beating them which now looks unlikely for a while or until Robbo is gone.
