I’m not against losing if we put up a fight but to go down so embarrassingly is very depressing. I want to be proud of the boys but watching great players like Teddy just throw the ball blindly anywhere without looking which I think ended up in a try? This kind of play is just so unprofessional. Behind or not we have to respect the ball not just throw it anywhere for the opposition to pick it up. That kind of footy is shameful.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

Like Robbo or not.....nothing disloyal about questioning the coach, they do that at the end of year review.
We are the most penalised team.....thats what we're winning. So biased refs or poor discipline. If it's discipline then that's down to the coach to address and fix.

As this season went on - our performances against the Storm got worse. WTF.
Agree, to lose with pride is okay. To allow 50 points against you in a grand final qualifier is absolute b ull s hit.
Obviously the coach and team did not " take their lessons etc "..............

The crazy lopsided record against Penrith and Melbourne recently has to evoke a change. Either Robbo makes some frank admissions to himself and takes a different tack in our preparation and tactics....or give someone else a crack. Otherwise we will stay just outside that top echelon...at best.
Like Matty Johns or not, he is imho one of the smartest footy brains in the business. The attached resonates true unfortunately.

We have not played with composure or settlement since 2019 coincidentally, once Cronk retired.
We're not prepared to get into an armwrestle and play for a try instead we get all excited on the 3rd or 4th tackle and throw the ball around and roll the dice.
Both the Riff and Storm play up and in your face, force the error and then whack you.
Happened the other night and last night to the Sharks too.
(emotional sigh) - I'm truly hoping an old head like Chad T can steer us into our old ways much like Maloney and Cronk.

It needs to be replaced with "bash em, smash em, trash em (legally of course),...knock em down, drag em out, stay down and make them look at it, fake injury to get penalties, no more mr nice guy, hit me with a forearm and you'll be sorry" style.
Coach Robbo's team came 3rd, got the bronze medal.
Gold medal went to either of 1 and 2, the Silver medal to the other.
The loser of the Grand Final didn't do much better than we did, it couldn't beat the team that won either.

Now we have V'landys Ball, or Rugba Leeg....back to one ref...and different rules.

You mean someone posting the same thread about Coach Robinson over and over and over again - we had Les doing the same although he and his aliases have seemingly vanished - still waiting to see Eggs solutionLast edited by King Salvo; 09-29-2024, 04:20 PM.
