I think no one should be placed in a situation where you need to choose to be stabbed by a needle or spat on.

See I took the point as being about the transmission of disease either through needle or saliva. I would certainly prefer to be spat on but both are a low act and unless the discussion is about the degree to which BJ assaulted his ex I don't see it as an action which can be defended, assuming he did it of course.
