I thought he spoke well and I think indications are he will remain with us . Just a gut feeling and reading between the lines. With Walsh getting $1.1 mill, I think his camp must realise the asking price bandied around is pie in the sky material.

Read some click bait that he's about to re-sign imminently.

He might have watched relatively unknown Trindall's blinder on the weekend and thought, 'hang on, how good am I actually?'

It was good listening to him & I now believe he'll stay at the Chooks.
I also enjoyed seeing Todd Carney, he's had a tough few years but now seems to be on top of things. Todd Carney for me has been the best player Ive seen at the Chooks in that season of 2010, he was sublime.

It was a real shame he couldn't get his act together off the field in his younger days, because on the field he was awesome.
I used to know one of his ex-girlfriends. Apparently, the passing of his old man led to Todd going off the rails. It does make you wonder what he could've been though.

Farian bumped into him before the game on Friday outside the stadium hobbling on his crutches. I asked him about his surgery but forgot to ask the more pertinent question - when are you resigning?

Saw him on his crutches as well. Need some lessons on how to use them…he was struggling big time

When Todd was questioned about his time at Bondi Junction he spoke warmly and indicated he would have remained, if things paned out differently.

His arrival in 2010 was significant because, IMO he was a big part of Smith's rebuild and the success that followed after a nightmare previous year.

I recall watching with delight his first game at fullback with us versus Souffs. Him and Pearce smashed it.
That was the same game Merritt was off for a try without challenge and he dropped it after looking at himself on the huge screen. LOL Souffs. A great day for the RWB.

Yeah slightly off-topic but I dunno if I've seen a player since Carney pull of such a blinder of a season. I know it was all self-inflicted but I wish we saw more of what Todd Carney had to offer...

                      He was sensational wasn't he

The only guy I can remember having a dominant season/period like that was Michael Morgan when Thurston was out. He was a highly underrated footballer

Immensely wasted talent but glad we got what we did out of him.

2010 with Carney in amazing form was the funnest year to be a roosters fan
We came from the horror of the 2009 spoon to a GF with a bunch of last minute wins throughout the season. There was also the Tigers semi final which ran for 97 mins and finished with this SKD intercept. Great times

I was actually just watching some 2010 highlights the other day, and had forgotten a bit just how absurdly good Carney was.

In terms of best form I've ever seen, I've have Carney 2nd I think. The best purple-patch I can recall was Ben Barba in.. 2012, I believe? Just seemed to eviscerate everyone for fun.

I hope Farian asked him about re-signing and not resigning. For an old wog like myself it gets confusing . LOL
