What are the chances Victor takes the field? God would love him especially with Ola out there?

I can't believe anyone is posting a side without Wong. Against the Panthers, in the 25 minutes he was on the field, we won 10-2. In the 55 he wasn't, Penrith won 28-0. Not saying it was just him, but we are a better side with him on the field. Sitili is leaving at the end of the year, is suspect in defence and prone to important lapses. I'd prefer Wong over any of him, May or Nat Butcher.

ZDC was a wasted interchange so I would go with 4 forwards on the interchange bench instead - Watson to play 80 again

JWH back in the 17 and possibly Radley pending fitness
          1. Tedesco
          2. Toops

          11. Crichton
          12. * Radley
          13. Nat Butcher

          Interchange from

          14. Leniu
          15. JWH
          16. Sitili
          17. Whyte
          18, Wong
          19, ZDC
          20. Jennings
          21. Nawaqanitawase

I realise it's a bit churlish of me to do so but King Salvo I feel compelled to ask, should we not leave the team selection to the paid professionals?

            I'd play Manu at 6.

            Roll the dice Robbo.

Wong is in my 13 every week. Watson to the bench. Watson and Spencer look tired after their first S.O.O. series.

JWH needs to be our best player.

He and Leniu seem to have had a bit of a performance dip ay? Wonder if they're simply being marked properly now, which weakens their impact?

                        Personally my team would be;

                        1. James Tedesco
                        2. Daniel Tupou
                        3. Joseph Su'allii
                        4. Joseph Manu
                        5. Dom Young

                        6. Luke Keary
                        7. Sandon Smith

                        8. JWH
                        9. Connor Watson
                        10. Lindsay Collins
                        11. Angus Crichton
                        12. Siua Wong
                        13. Nafhau Whyte

                        Reserves

                        14. Zac Docker-Clay (Comes on around the 30 minute mark to give Connor a rest, Connor comes back on around 50th minute refreshed and ready to carve up the opposition)
                        15. Spencer Leniu
                        16. Terrell May
                        17. Blake Steep (Comes on to give either Whyte or Wong a break, and channels his best Boyd Cordner runs whilst on the field).

I know my selection of Steep will get criticised, but Sitili makes too many defensive errors and Butcher just isn't effective. At least the team above should be able to play a decent power game and really stick it to Manly.

We must do better than having Butcher in the starting lineup when our opponents forwards are all fresh. Bring him on if you must when their forwards have tired. He gets pushed back 10 metres by fresh forwards. Big forwards just barge over him near the line.

Now is the time to take some risks after the abysmal first half against the Panthers.

The Eagles aren't as good as them, but are good enough to get us.
                            • JWH to start. Let him go hard - he is fit and raring to go. He wants to go out a winner and will lift the whole team. Let him play as many minutes as he wants. Just order him to keep his fkn arms down Robbo, for god's sake.
                            • Sitili to sit this one out, and if we win i'd argue to sit out the season. Sitili is offering very little overall, and that has been the case for some time + we can't carry his abysmal defence.
                            • Butcher is a problem, in the sense that he is an excellent 80 minute defensive lock - but if you don't put him there, you are losing optimal effectiveness wherever you do have him. We need his experience at the back end of the game though, and he will be a brick wall to tired opposition - bring him on after the 50th minute.
                            • If Rads plays, a utility such as Dockar-Clay will not be required. Give him 50 needles if you have have to Robbo, just get him out there. Let him run off the bench so he can avoid the early heated exchanges.

                            1. James Tedesco
                            2. Daniel Tupou
                            3. Joseph Su'allii
                            4. Joseph Manu
                            5. Dom Young

                            6. Luke Keary
                            7. Sandon Smith

                            8. JWH
                            9. Connor Watson
                            10. Lindsay Collins
                            11. Angus Crichton
                            12. Siua Wong
                            13. Nafhau Whyte

                            Reserves:

                            14. Victor Radley
                            15. Spencer Leniu
                            16. Terrell May
                            17. Nat Butcher

Manu seems rather disinterested at at the moment, maybe in preservation made.
Probably on my own here, I'd give Marky the gig.
                              Wong definite for Sitili.
And as already mentioned Steep on the bench.
Radley to much of a risk...no way he could recover so quickly.
As I'm not selecting the side, no need for ridicule.

I agree desperate times, but Joeys form has been ordinary for ages. He has failed as a 6 previously...if you want to do something desperate put him at fullback where maybe he will get involved again and Teddy to 6. Teddy is running around in the middle anyway.
