Dylan Brown is an excellent player so wouldn't be the worst thing.

For what it’s worth I’ve heard the Walker to Broncos from a very reliable and well connected source When I asked he said not a done deal but the consensus is this is what will happenI respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Sandon Smith in 2021 won the SG Ball Player of the year
In 2022 led the NSW Cup in try and line break assists
2023 he almost won us the semi against the Storm if not for a freak last second play
I have full confidence this kid has it

I prefer to believe than hope.
The injury crisis hurts but observing the team in the lead up to Vegas and all thru the season has showed a great team spirit. Games which we have lost this year displayed a fighting spirit never give up approach. Our average points scored against us has been 16 this season but was less yesterday. I don’t buy into the hype of the defence being poor. It’s more lapses and fatigue due to the changes in the game of V’Landy.

Our hope relies on Cleary coming back early and farrking his shoulder or hammy completely and missing the rest of the finals. I think the hammy was smoke and mirrors anyway so probably highly unlikely.
Storm have played nearly the whole season without their best players so good for them to finish 1st no matter how ref protected they are.
If those 2 clubs can get a few injuries anything can happen. Sandon is a good player and we have the likes of Suualii to come back in to cover goalkicking. It would take the stars aligning completely mixed with a slight tweak in game style to become more of a turgid, slow building defensive team who can hit on the break using our pace and individual brilliance. Beyond that, we are an absolute sitting duck looking at a complety unjust straight sets exit.

Sandon is the unknown but he has played well for us at halfback in the past particularly with Keary. I rate his defence better than Sammy's and he has played in the middle. He also has a stronger kick in him. Cometh the hour.
Our backline hasn't changed so we have the same strike power on both sides that has put on some big scores in the last couple of months.
Brandon has played some good games and he has played some meh games. I prefer Brandon starting and Watto coming off the bench but Watto is a great dummy half and ZDC is a good back-up off the bench. Whyte has been good at lock to replace Watto. Brandon is a loss but not a season defining one.
Rads is irreplaceable but if we have some great depth it is in the backrow. Sitilili has been in career best form the last month or so. Nat is playing well. Gus is our beast. Wong again cometh the hour. He gets his chance.
I still think we are primed as a team and will give it a shake but as mentioned all the stars have to align for the remainder of the season. No more injuries or suspensions and everyone has to lift for the finals which I am confident they will. The Panthers have not been great even with Cleary. Storm have been good the last couple of weeks but lost to the Dragons not that long ago.
We are rightfully third favourites now but $7.50 is overs imo.

If I wasn't depressed enough.
We have bigger problems...like the size of our team.
Big, tough, muscular, rough, fast Raiders team crushed us in defence, and ran all over us in attack. Too big, too strong unstoppable near the line.
It was horrible to watch.
Club should watch the replay thru critical eyes.
We should select every big player we have for the Souths game...play "Eye of the Tiger" and 'slap them around' just before they run out.
Do rough and tough gang tackles, like the Raiders did...*get out and get into em*.
Controlled aggression.
This "hail fellow well met", "tally ho good pass that" soft and gentle nonsense isn't working.
Maybe sign up to Panthers Martin's footy style.
