I hope we do. I think he will come good.

I'm wishing we held onto Sitili now too. He is playing some good footy. Don't really understand letting him go, surely our cap isnt that stretched with all the outs and minimal ins at the end of this season.

I think this season Robbo has shown he will only use Watson at 9 when injury forces him to or Smith needs a break.

Unfortunately I think it was timing
He was playing res grade and not setting the world on fire when he moved on when on big money
now he is playing well and back in the 17 - if this form was 2 months ago they may have held onto him
I think Egan may go at some stage next year or at the end

You need a good 22 or more not just 17 good players throughout the year so interesting who steps up going forward

I don’t necessarily disagree, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Cheese is let go. I honestly have thought he’s been pretty good, my main issue with him is that he can’t play more than 40-50 mins. If he’s not signed by Nov 1 I can see a team like the Eels paying big bucks for him. Should he sign elsewhere, our obvious replacements are Watson, Tyler Moriarty(who hasn’t set the world alight in Reggies) and maybe Sandon Smith (especially if Jake Elliott is preferred, fm he looks good).

God yeah. I still see Egan as a decent NSW Cup player and only used in Firsts as an emergency.

Yes can’t see cheese re signing
well not on $800k anyway for a player playing half a game
with Watson playing so well robbo can’t take him off the field which forced rads to move to the edge and cheese struggling for game time only playing 40 odd minutes

Egan is NRL as is Nat. Not sure why folk on here dislike the both of them - maybe they dished them at fan day?

Wong will be something special. I’d be disappointed if we let him move on just because this season hasn’t turned out right for him. The kid just turned 21.

I don’t think it has anything to do with being “dissed” at a fan day.

Egan……NRL…..maybe a bench spot at the Tigers. Showed a bit of promise early on, but that was about it. He’s been bog average or worse ever since. I think many got over-excited when he showed that bit of promise early on (me included), and they might feel a bit dudded now.

Nat is definitely NRL, but many believe we have better players that could be selected in his place. He had a terrific game last week against the Tits, however there’s just not enough of them from Nat, particularly against the top teams. He’s much better in the middle than on an edge as we saw on the weekend. Good toiler that will continue to alternate between starting and the bench. Perhaps some felt that Nat was being selected in parts of previous years not on form, but more on being the coaches pet, but that’s on the coach, not Nat.

Robbo's taking his time with him. Did the same with Collins, May and Whyte. They seem to be going ok now.

He played a lot more than expected last year because of all the injuries.

Siua started the season as the starting edge forward and unfortunately with the outstanding form of Angus, Victor and Connor has seen him fall behind in the pecking order. It reminds me of when Nauhafu played a few games in 2021 when half the squad was injured. It took him almost two seasons to fight his way back to the top 17.

I know he and Steep play different positions but it feels like they will be competing with each other for a spot in the 17 next year.

Either Wong pushes Radley back into the middle or Steep forces his way into the 17 and keeps Radley on an edge.

Wong is only 21 has plenty of time
will be interesting to see if he comes into lock or moves back to the edge with rads at 13 going forward
look forward to seeing his development

Yeah, I get it made sense at the time, but I can just see him going on a tear for the dogs which will hurt more than usual given all the junior development we put into him. Hopefully we see him return one day.
