Last couple of games have been similar, they start at a million miles an hour and rack up an early lead and then the missed tackles start late in the first half as the fatigue sets in. Think they need to be a bit more measured and pace themselves better over the 80 mins instead of blowing themselves out in the first 20.

I'm in the middle of watching the replay.
Sutton is still a criminal.
The penalty on Suallii, when he never actually ran behind the other player, is perfect evidence to prove to TPTB just how corrupt Sutton is.
And the icing on the cake?
He tells Tedesco he can challenge it, then 1 second later he says "challenge over". What a smug, smartarse prick.Last edited by Carlos Parra; 08-04-2024, 12:38 PM.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs

5 minutes later, Sutton repeats the effort. Again telling Tedesco he can challenge the obstruction ruling and before he has a chance to respond, he says it's 'over now anyway'.
What an arsehole.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Our D is suffering based on our overall approach to a game. We're manic which enables us to score plenty of points however we lack the composure required to be organised in defence and control the tempo of a game. This also effects our ability to close out a game as our focus is solely on scoring more points. We're fortunate that we have the skill and strike power to win games but you need more to win a comp.

Robbo has the team starting fast with points, he knows if we are behind we are then not managed back into the game to make it entertainment value with the 2 broadcasts as is the usual case for other teams.
The entertainment value is the slagging off of the team by the tabloid commentary teams. History tells the story.
