Big game, a win here takes us to 32points. Cut off to the top 4 based on last few years will be 38points.

4 games remaining against the Eels, Titans, Raiders & Rabbitohs. 3 wins out of those 4 is very realistic.

Just can’t afford to stumble before the bye again like we did against the Cowboys.

If we have a top 4 spot locked in, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Toia get a game in the last round of the regular season - if we were to rest most of our team. Outside of that, I agree he is almost guaranteed to not get a start this year.

I reckon Wong should be on the bench rather than Sitili.

This has happened last few seasons, robbo for some reason will play people who are heading off the following season instead of youngsters needing to develop for the following season, oh well.

havent seen much nsw cup, how has Wong been playing?

Dolphins beat us the first time we ever played them. It’s payback time now. We really need this win going into the bye. It will take a lot of pressure off us on the ladder.

Our last game wasn't as bad as many on here are making out.
Our defence was exceptional despite the score put on us. The three intercepts become the talking point , but only the second one was careless. You could call the first a 12 point turn around.
We play like we did last game and we'll thrash Redcliffe.

If the best side, with the most chance of winning, is the one with departing players in it, then so be it.

Wong was considered the next big thing, so if Robbo is playing Sitili and before that Egan over him something has occurred. Maybe it’s something to do with attitude, maybe it’s form, maybe he’s not mentally ready. I do seem to think that Steep might be considered a bigger prospect

Would love to see us have the luxury of being able to rest a heap of players against Souffs (IMO a dangerous game as they're outta contention so will treat it like a GF).

I'd only play a full strength team if the Eels/Tigpies are even with them on the ladder and there's a chance of delivering Souffs the spoon.

Side note - do we reckon Manu's definitely playing?

Cheese said he's had the same injury and once the plate's in you're all good. He couldn't go under the needle as he's a hooker (so it hurt like hell) but Manu might have some more wiggle room in that regard.

IMO having him back would be a big in as our defence always struggles without him.

I seen the interview, but why name him in the extended if he is no chance?

There have been times Robbo has named players who are carrying injuries who were zero chance of playing as part of the extended squad the reality is you have to name an extended squad with multiple players that are not expected to play, in Toia's case its just part of his development he has also been named in NSW Cup this week where he will end up playing.
