  • Season on the line

I know I might saying the obvious, but Mondays nights game is the most important of the season. If we lose I believe we will not make the eight and our season will slowly slip away. A win is critical as not only will it give an important two points ,it would show that we have built on an unlucky last three weeks. It will show how quickly this young, talented squad needs to mature. I agree that this youth policy will eventually result in a very good footy team, but patience is a difficult emotion when you love seeing the red white and blue winning & other teams such as rabbits & sharks seem to be buying big name quality players.Anyway, time will tell.

Unless Anasta improves 1 million percent we will not finish in the 8.

Playing with 16 players every week like we have been is just killing us.

TBH I didn't think we were going to make the 8 this year as good as I think we can be.

I knew this year was about building and I was definitely surprised at how well Smithy has built up the new culture and re-signings of our younger players. It has given me plenty of hope. As long as we can show that we have tried and pushed our competitors to the limit I think this year will be a success.

If we can get the rub of the green on the remaining games I think we can win a lot of them however its the 2013/14/15 seasons that I am really looking forward to watching. Its an exciting time at the Roosters and I think were going to be big threats over those years.

Young talented squads don't win NRL games.

        Unlucky = 'robbed'.

Not unless something is done about the incompetent and seemingly biased refereeing.

Yeah I agree - lose tonite and it's all over for 2012...(again).
This club has an excuse every year for crap performances. This year it is youth, next year it will be ?
I don't follow the club in an anticipation of what might come in the coming years. I follow the club to win games.
The teams has crap halves and centres, plus the team has woeful defense.
The team has a chance of playing semis if Smith puts Braith in the back row and Mortimer in the halves.
But sometimes I think Smith's hands may be tied on 'some' decisions.

I honestly can't see us beating the Dogs.

We've got decent young prospects, but nowhere near enough real quality in our squad.

We need that something extra, like an SBW or a Hayne.

Bansai , Bull chocks arent much better like we depend on a fit SKD to get us over they have Barba, if Barba dont score a couple they will lose .

When they get it together the Dogs play some very impressive footy though.

                  You're right about Barba.

                  He's in terrific form.

                  And he always troubles us.

we can beat The Bullcrap tonight, limit Barba, Inu always pulls out a surprise and we aim up in defence with no easy let in's, then we are in it with a real shot.
As for the 8 this year i am taking it game by game nothing at the moment has shown me that we will make the 8 we will need to win the next 5 in a row to even think of making the 8.

We also play impressive footy as seen over the last few weeks where we lose in the last minute or by some ridiculous ref decision.
That saying about 'it all evens itself out in the end'...well I never believe it when it comes to us because we've been receiving crap calls for ever.

Now with Bj out that makes two centers for us out Barba will have a field day.
Although I hope Adam Henry gets a run - good player

If we happen to win will be great for morale and take a bit off focus off the negativity from BJ's arrest.

If we lose it will be the usual club in crisis and wrist-slashing unfortunately.
