  • The 14th Immortal

If Ron Coote doesn't get it, I may be driven to violence.

And I'll also fully agree with Player 1 - there is an agenda against Easts!

I never saw Coote. Sterling or Kenny for mine.

The Roar are saying Smith is next in line. He is great and a future Immortal, but Coote won 6 to 3 premierships. Too much recency bias.

Can't agree about Freddy, as much as I love him. Kenny was better and should be Immortal way before Fred.

Surely it's Ben Barba and Jaryd Hayne as joint inductees.

Kenny was something else, better than Wally Lewis at 6 at the time, keeping Lewis out of the Aust side in his favoured position. Kenny is the best 6 that I’ve seen and up there with the best at centre.

I was fortunate enough to know Brett pretty well at our junior club, where he coached my younger brother’s team when he played A Grade and I was a couple of years younger. A very decent bloke all round as well.

Seems like they name new immortals more often than we win a penalty count.

Surely it’s Coote. I’m too young to have seen him play but his record speaks for itself.

Im biased but I would love to see Freddy become an immortal one day
