Even then your comment has its negative connotations to somehow justify your earlier comments. But you've been happy to beat yourself to an omelette each time the team has won since.
The season is long. Only Parra and Dragons fans win premierships in April and May.

Still waiting for your old mate to come back. Haven't seen that miserable FDC since our last loss. Yet you and your other mates believe he is a die hard Rooster but he can't show up to celebrate any of our wins. GF.

Now now, give Les a chance.

I'm confident he's a solid chooks supporter. He articulates his points well & isnt quick to shoot down differing opinions.

There's no negative connotations with me...just caution at this stage. Very happy with how we've turned it around & are currently travelling.

But no point of premature adulation now if we tank badly at finals time.

    Patience Inflictor....time will reveal all.

He might be out of the country...or lost his phone.

Or doing double shifts at Coles & Woolies to make ends meet & is very busy.

He’ll return the moment we lose our next game.

I fully agree we have improved a lot but we’ve had an easy draw and yet been unable to beat the top teams so far. Until we can beat the riff and storm we are not real contenders for they are the teams we must beat to take the title.

You can't beat them until you play them, we are a completely different beast to the one that lost by 6 points to both those teams earlier this season.

I prefer the line that he's busy reading to the sick children in Prince of Wales and doesn't have time.

Agree wirh your post. We were only a couple of dodgy calls away from beating both earlier this season. Down in AMMI park next week will tell us excatly were we are at.

There are currently 4 teams in the top 8 that we have played and have beaten us but that we have not yet beaten. Manly, Penrith, Storm, North Queensland . It’s because we’ve beaten the teams in the bottom half of the ladder that we are in 3rd due to a very easy draw. This throws up a bright red flag for me telling me we are way overrated and it’s really a two team premiership race. Otherwise why can’t we beat these teams? Let’s be completely honest here. We are not beating the top teams but they are beating us.

If you can't see that we are playing at a completely different level to what we were earlier in the season than I can't help you out. I know we haven't beaten them, but we also haven't played them since we caught fire. Melbourne struggled to beat the Tigers and we walked all over them. Penrith got beaten by St George who we have lapped twice. This premiership is definitely not a two horse race.

The composure of the last few weeks is what I liked the most. The attack has often been a bit frantic over the last couple of years but since the last game against the dogs they seemed to find a balance between playing very uptempo but in a much more controlled way. Think they can go close to winning it if they keep it up.

Penrith still very hard to beat though. With Cleary to come back they will go up several gears for the finals.
