A sad loss. Condolences to his family. Is his sister Jane still around?

Does anyone remember Keith and Louise from the Turner Stand Army days?
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Yes, I too was part of the Turner stand army in the late 70's early 80's.

      Brian was quite the character.

          That is very sad.

Who was the bloke -- maybe not quite all there -- who used to turn up to each game in full kit, including boots, and sit in the Turner stand? I never saw him, but used to hear about him.

            Bruce.

            And definitely not all there.

If you asked him if he 'got a game' he'd say, 'nah, didn't want me'.

Loved all the chants that used to come out of the Turner stand at the old Sports Ground with Brian leading the way.
In the later few years i remember him sitting in his chair out side the SFS after the games before it was knocked down waiting to be assisted to transport home, he would always say hello.

              RIP lengend.

I remember quite a few, but never really got to know any of them. Brian's niece (Jane's oldest daughter) tried to get me into bed once or twice.

There were 2 brothers that used to sit together every week. They were 100% identical and must have been twins. Not sure if they were 'all there' because they never said a word or engaged in the chants.

Sadly Jane passed away not so long ago.

RIP Rooster Man. I hope you are having a beer with Artie.

I know whom you are talking about I won’t mention her name but I always got along with the Neice you speak of I remember travelling up on the train to Newcastle with my Brother one year and meeting her she was with Jane then we all travelled back on it as well. They got off before us and she accidentally left her hat on my bag which had her name and number written on it She was good value and a laugh to be around when she was young

I was careful not to name names.

It happened at a party where the family lived. Hillsdale was it?

                                I think Jane had 2 daughters and a son...or was he Brian's?
