  • 6 Agains or Penalties ?

We have witnessed and now be desensitised over the lopsided penalty counts against us, the recent post yesterday shows the widening gap, however I think the 6 agains are far more important and influential, they happen so fast that you can’t even challenge them most the time, in our case it is when we become far more vulnerable and points regular scored which made the last 10 minutes last night even more impressive

Curiously, Easts always seem to give away re-starts when they're defending their line.

And you're right, they are uncontestable as there's not usually a stop in play.

They really are a dumb idea. Look at the case where scores a tied with a couple of minutes to go, and an indiscretion doesn't allow the attacking side to take 2 points. Teams often deliberately slow down the play the balls in this scenario because they know that they can take the odds to defending the next set rather than give away an almost certain 2 points.

Good defensive teams are undervalued by the games administration. They seem to think that the only good football is scoring 40+ points a game. It's pretty sad.
