Solid half by the Roosters. Bulldogs had only 2 tackles in our 20m zone for 1 try. That was the disappointing aspect. I feel like Teddy is over playing his hand a lot and it’s not helpful. JWH was enormous early. 40 tough minutes of wet weather footie into the wind coming up. COME ON EASTS

Probably the best half of wet weather footy I can recall us playing. Great handling, playing straight and getting that balance right with chancing the arm. Our little spine men coming into their own off good ruck speed and yardage. Good kick chase too. Helps having a ref who lets them play footy. JWH best on ground at oranges...outstanding 30 min dig.

Obviously a shoulder charge by Skelton as per the NRL explanation of the key elements and indicators of a shoulder charge offence.
Shoulder Charge
A shoulder charge is where the tackling player uses his shoulder and/or upper arm without, at the same time, using both of his arms to tackle or otherwise take hold of the opposing player. Arms obviously includes hands. The contact and force must be generated by the shoulder of the tackling player. Unless both arms are used or attempted to be used, then in any case where the shoulder and/or upper are used to make forceful contact, it will be a shoulder charge.

Holy shit this is the first time in 9 months this website has worked on my mobile. Usually it's full of glitches and won't let me post.
Better make the most of it while it lasts.
Brilliant half of footy. Gave me flashbacks to better days when players didn't dive every 2nd tackle and the referees didn't try to be the centre of attention.
JWH with a vintage performance. Absolutely crucial 2nd half coming up. No repeat of the Cowboys debacle please.
