That knock back/intercept was super frustrating but much better control in the game today.

Really showed that defence in the modern day game is as much about your ability to defend and your ability to control where the game is being played. Up until the 70th minute the Bullodgs had only played the ball in our 20m four times, that is ridiculous.

I also remember in 1977 where we won 5 games to nil in the premiership rounds, Manly twice, Norths twice and also Souths at Redfern.

Were Redfern games feral back in the day? Was the bitterness that exists between the fans still there or were people generally more chill on account of the world not being as monumentally shit as it is today
