  • Has Tau Tau Moga always been very shy?

I saw Tau Tau Moga at Eastgardens today and i couldn't help but to say something! But when i did he was scared shitless!! I'm only an innocent 17 year old hahaha. I said "Hey are you Tau Tau Moga?" He hesitated and looked really scared uncomfortable then said yes and shook my hand. We had a brief 10 second coversation but he was really scared. Has anyone else met before Moga and seen how shy he is? His a great bloke tho!

My policy meeting anyone famous is to be cool. It's like "hello, yeah I know who you are, didn't want to make a fuss. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for all your achievements in whichever area they work in.

Of course I become a cotton mouth with Megan Gale. Have everytime I've been introduced by mutual friends.

Being an islanders, they are very polite and respected up bringing, especially those good young Samoan kids like mona/brandon tago and rts, ask lama tasi, fpn and mose, they will explain that to you.

Yes, he's a very quiet, shy young man who has been thrust into the spotlight this year. It will take some time for him to get used to his fame and I'm sure he will eventually come out of his shell.

                Lucky,
LOL.......you describe him well. He's a very shy and unassuming fella. I bump into him quite a bit & always say hi, he just goes into his shell. It's going to be very amusing once he establishes himself in the top grade and the media come calling for interviews.

He was REALLY shy when I approached him at the Coaching Clinic at the end of last year.

He was more interested in hoeing down his subway at the time though.

Smith has previously stated one of the problems he encounted with TauTau was his lack of self confidence and he has been trying to unlock the inner beast within him.

Smith loves to tell stories about how TauTau used to coast along in junior matches so that he didn't make opponents look/feel inadequate, infact he used to apologise for hitting to hard in defence and quite often sat out on the wing so he didn't have any influence on the match once it was won.

I like his humility. Arona is another that looks like he's a very respectful young man.

I hope they both able to maintain it as it's usually the first attribute beaten out of our modern day sporting heroes.

                      Chook.

It's like Folau. Islanders are naturally shy and don't react well to public attention.

Errrr John, police are not "mutual friends", and "introduced" should probably read stopped you from staking her.

As for "cotton mouth", probably more likely something sticky in your cotton undies

A mate of mine played golf with Tinirau Arona for some charity day, he didn't even know who he had played with, he said he was some Rooster who had said to just call him T when asked what his name was! He did say he was a nice guy though.
