The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that Fetalaiga ‘Junior’ Pauga has extended his contract with the Club for an additional two years, securing his place in the squad through to the end of the 2027 NRL season.

Important re-signing considering our centre stocks for next year. Could Junior force himself into a starting spot next year?
    Red, White and Bluesters!!!

Great depth player for us. Seems of good character and hasn’t let us down when called upon.

Excellent signing. Underrated player who would have cost very little. Has the ability to become a starting player.

          He's improving all the time.
          Starting spot next year?
          Why not.
          He's becoming 'bigger', more muscular.

Quite good news for a change.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Really happy to hear this. I like what he brings to the side and rarely lets us down. The only burning memory for me though was in the Melbourne Finals game last year where Warbrick out leaped him to score in the death and end our season.

can he grow a foot taller in the offseason?

he'll be 31 in 2027 so a big vote of confidence from the club but fair enough. has moments when he looks like a first choice first grade player. maybe he can take it up just a notch. at the very least he's good back up

What's this got to do with next yr? Pauga must have already been contracted for next yr.

This resigning clearly says for 2 yrs until the end of 2027...in other words resigned for 2016 & 2027.

Finally some good news and well deserved. He will get plenty of FG games over the next couple of years with Manu leaving and Billy only ever playing a third of the season. I still think we are short one quality centre for next year.

Good on him I’d say modest deal but will be great depth
didnt realise he was allready signed next year so not bad for a fringe first grader to have 3 years sorted
but certainly a valuable player to have
