NSW were a man down and constantly pinned in their own half for ~65 minutes until the floodgates opened due to sheer exhaustion. IMO the less said about this game, the better as the NRL loves controversy.

Nothing against Nicho personally at all, but he is not Origin level, and I think that's very evident.
First chance he got, he gives away a 7-tackle set. Aside from maybe two in the second half, none of his kicks landed where they should. His passes were wayward and he wasn't defensively strong. Maybe he'll make it back at some point, but I don't see how you select him again at the moment.

The send-off didn't make his kick accuracy poor.

We are talking about a guy who was Dally M 2022 player of the year and has been dynamic this year for Cronulla.

If he fails to fire behind a dominating forward pack then fair enough- but to drop him after 1 game playing on a side with 12 men would be harsh.

If you want to see a player who is a gun in first grade but mainly average in rep footy its Isaah Yeo. He plays a great linking game for the Panthers but SOO is a different animal....and he isn't that effective.

Yeo has been underwhelming in origin for a while now.
