No contest. QLD just too strong and too fast but were clever. NSW just had no chance, completely outclassed. Unless qld play really bad they’ve got Origin won. NSW just has no talent or creativity. You can’t just depend on speed and strength. You need brains to win these games. NSW had no players unlike qld that could have turned the match.

Knew Tedesco would be the only player criticised for missing that Ben Hunt tackle, even though there were about 5 misses in that segment.

Leniu was the best player on the park, and was the only reason NSW even had a sniff.

Edwards will come in. I thought Teddy was strong given the circumstances, but didn’t do enough to keep out Edwards out.

Wouldn't drop Suaalii. He wasn’t in my team, but if you think he was the best option, you can’t drop him based on a high tackle 5 minutes in.

Martin terrific. Hynes shouldn’t be selected again. Thought Luis looked likely. Can’t drop Jurbo after just making him captain, but he offers nothing other than being likeable. Played 29 minutes.

Angus strong. Collins strong.

Again the roosters were some of the best players
1. critchon ran for 170mtr and played 80 min with 70 pcm
2. Spencer made 110mtr on only 25 min was the best front rower and should have got longer
3. Teddy had a great first half and still ran over 200mte and a try
They were 3 of nsw best

4. Collins seemed quite but still made 140mtr

suaali well what a surprise he came jamming in - now everyone knows what he is like! Let’s hope Billy smith is back soon and suaali will be out for some time

A thought: The NSW team selections for over a long period were never consistent. The NRL Media partnership play its role in the selections and interestingly the media target individuals after a NSW loss or prior the game and are usually Roosters players.
