Zac Fittler played SG Ball this year

Where's Braith Alexander, as he was named in the NSW Cup squad for 2024 but so far hasn't played a game despite the injury toll? He played 20 games in Jersey Flegg in 2023.

I imagine our Flegg is mostly SG Ball players and our NSW Cup team is mostly Flegg players.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Hope the Va'a boys get on together for once & ZDC doesn't hog the ball, or uses them more as decoys, than for go forward, especially close to line... footy doesn't always have to be pretty, spreading the ball wide for the sake of spreading it wide. "Ugly" footy at the right time, will work just as, if not more, effectively. Just my opinion.

A lot of the boys in year 12 have stopped playing club footy to focus on their HSC, this is something the club is a big proponent of once the junior rep calander has finished. I can't speak specifically for Zach as I'm not aware of his circumstances but he's certainly young enough to still be in year 12.

Such a powerful pack too, on top of the Va'a boys Nasau and Losalu are absolute beasts. Definitely need to simplify & play to their strengths a little more from what I've seen of them this year.

                Hey Uncle
How did little 'big' bro DLS find the step up in grade?
Hoping he's got an appetite for more

He's enjoying training/learning with the nrl squad... Cup has been a good experience & hoping to get more minutes. It's his/their (he & Xavier) job & they both love going to work.

Love the ethic instilled in them from a young age.
The commentators occasionally reference the pair waking up each morning at 5am to hit the road and then spar when they were 12 yo.
They're obviously good boys and old school respectful and gracious.

Any hints on whether he'll play FG this weekend Uncle?

He didn’t actually make the squad for the Semi final they lost and played off the bench for the whole season. So I’m not sure how good he is at this stage of his career.

Where’s Ethan Roberts? He must be injured

Zach, another youngster with plenty of ability/potential (& a famous name to go with it). This year's SG side was a hard one to crack, esp being bottom age. I'm sure he'll be better for the experience next season.

Ethan, another young gun, suffered a serious syndesmosis injury a couple of weeks ago playing Flegg v the Warrz, so he's in recovery mode.

Thats all part of the footy life for all these young Chooks.

You may know the answers to the following PLV012

Are all Junior Rep Players under contract and are they paid?

Top 30 and development contract players train full time - how often do players that won't be playing NRL on any particular week get to train with NSW Cup and or Jersey Flegg if they are to play in those grades.

What has happened to Hayden Ritchie as he and Cassius Tio sadly now with the Dogs were the best half combo's in SG Ball in 2023.

What happened to Lachlan Dooner as he didn't play SG Ball at all in 2024 despite being in the squad - not sure if he was injured or not - surprised he didn't play as he was highly rated by the club.
