Maybe the worst reason to disallow a try I've ever seen, that was just shit. Just shit.
They had all the ball and all the penalties and most of it on our line in that second 1/2 and we held like champions. Amazing effort, DCE was probing like a proctologist, and somehow we held them off, very proud of their effort.
Look at their tries. A sublime flat ball by DCE to get outside Tagavie. A freakish bounce to gift Matai one. And well Bwaiffs slip, it was a great run and ball, but Bwaiff really that was soft.
To go to Brookie and play like we did, hanging in with that crowd booing every chance they got, Watnow rightly pumped after being overlooked, thanks pRicky. DCE was on fire. Sure they lost Foran but I thought his brother played really well. And they are last years premiers.
Disappointing but fark me there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's just gonna take time but each week while it's frustrating personally I'm enjoying us being competitive and knowing with only a few changes next season we are in a position to have a big crack the next few years.
Remember this is what we all hoped for this year, well should have, being competitive. Anyone that expected top 4 this year weren't being realistic.
It won't get any easier, The Boggs game will offer the same.
