Several times Spirit of 66 has posted some statistics about how poorly our club has fared over the last 5 years at the hands of our beloved men in pink.
Names such as Archer, Cummins, Lyons, Maxwell are anathema to roosters fans.
For those of you who think there is nothing to this, even after viewing these statistics, that is fine, just ignore this thread. I am ok with you thinking i am a looney conspiracy theorist.
Quite separate from all the really massive stitch ups, highlighted by the 2010 GF, which even eclipsed referee Keith Page's effort against us in the 72 GF, these statistics are noteworthy. They show that not only have we conceded the most penalties over the last 5 years of any club (a fact easily explained away by saying we have had poor discipline - even with 3 separate coaches and different groups of players), but we also have CONSISTENTLY received the least penalties. That is to say, every team that plays us magically, somehow, improves their discipline when they play red white and blue jumper wearing teams.
I have encouraged Spirit to send these to Steve Noyce and ask for a comment. I think it may be time to go public and ask for an explanation from the NRL. What could be the consequences? Could we be shafted any more? Smith has tried the soft approach without reward.
Let's stir the pot.
