    Very interesting!

This is very interesting considering Anasta was hooked with 5 minutes to go.

Maybe he has spat the dummy at smith?

Maybe this game is the straw that breaks Anasta's "back" for a few weeks.

Just my opinion but I would like to see Morts at 6 with Pearce running the show.

    Maybe give Mini the Captaincy?

Braith had an appontment to get his nails done. That's why he couldn't make the press conference.

Does he have any heart strings left to pull?

Manly have never been gracious in defeat. Manly have won premierships in each decade from the 1970's.

Braith is predictable and slow in attack and can't time a pass . Please go as he shown us he doesn't want to put in for the roosters and most fans don't want him put in first grade.

As Smith said, the footy gods aren't smiling right now and the team needs to hang tough until they do. I expected us to get spanked today (Brookie is like that for us) and we took them to the wire. Gotta admire the grunt in this team right now.

We have played a month of consistently good tough football but only got the one win unfortunately.

                    Our turn will come.

Even the footy gods don't like smith much

Pretty sure he has made each press conference after playing..Thought he'd just missed one earlier when he was out (AND WE WON!)
                        Probably wrong though

funny enough Braith played his best game all season today.....by no means was it a good game but youd think if he was to be hooked it would have been last week or the week before.

I thought his game against the Dragons was much better. He stayed out of the way and played a lot of halfback just feeding to Pearce. Yesterday he did two good things altogether. Supported BJ after throwing a woeful ball when trying to feed the backline. And put in a nice chip kick to Perrett. What else did he do that was so great?

On the flip side, he failed to find touch, kicked pathetically all day gifting Manly the ball on the 20 even when we'd reached close to halfway, he went down the short side for a whole set, he failed to give Moga one piece of quality service all day (and sitting on the side it was noticeable that Moga was pissed with the ineptness of his halves. Funnily enough on one of those short side raids in that set Moga actually went close to scoring after shrugging off a couple. Five players were involved in that tackle. Now you would think Anasta would shift wide to the other side based purely on numbers but no he propped and came back to the short side, only to have the ball fumbled trying to get it out of the traffic and Jason King to pick it up and run 40 metres up field while Anasta watched.

I just can't see how that translates to his best game sorry.

Made double figures in the metres gained department. He hasn't made 20 metres ever since he started in the forwards. Note: Sarcasm alert

Is that meant to be an ahievement?
How about the other halves stats in running metres this weekend

Chris Lawrence 4 runs for 30 metres in 40 minutes
James Maloney 7 runs for 83 metres
Michael Morgan 7 runs for 75 metres
Blake Austin 4 runs for 52 metres
Jamie Soward 10 runs for 94 metres
John Sutton 13 runs for 90 metres
Braith Anasta 3 runs for 23 metres

Anasta should be ashamed of himself for running last compared to those other guys, its a joke!
