  • Victor Radley

Anyone notice how Victor mostly stayed out of first receiver in his return game today?

Coaching staff have obviously caught on after some big attacking performances with him away.

You beat me to it. I was impressed with his straight running and tackling , not play making

I think he has been doing this all season. His running and support play are just as important as his ball playing.

Agreed, this isn’t new news. Radley has been playing less of a distribution role this year.

If anything we became more expansive when he went off the field and missed his direction around the middle.

Absolutely. He has a run first mentality these days and is a better player for it.

will be interesting to see what happens next year with kez gone. hopefully sandon really steps up and rads can continue what he's been doing this year.

Rads form would easily have him if a sky blue if eligible
either 13 or on the bench as a 14-15 to cover hooker and back row
unfortunately injury and suspension has robbed rads previously of getting a jersey otherwise he would have
Shame not to see him in the blue as he is made for Origen
but on a selfish chooks eyes also glad he won’t be playing Origen and focused on the chooks through the Origen period

I agree that he’s now made for Origin and it is a real shame that we didn’t get so see him excel on that stage. The “old” Victor would have let the emotion of the occasion get to him with the big hits and he would have spent a lot of time on the sidelines as a result. The “new” more mature, controlled Victor would absolutely kill it.

If Napa can play for the Cook Islands(2013) and QLD(2017-19) then Vic who was born in NSW should be eligible to play for his state. Playing for England so they can be competitive shouldn't come at a price.
