Every player deserves respect but the nature of the game is you don't have to consult players about who you are recruiting. Angus might need to go and ask Nick where the club stands on him-after all its Nick who has the final say.

We should not have made any announcements until Fifita had signed on the dotted line. Now we have to backtrack with many players knowing they are not really wanted. We also should have quickly put closure on the Crichton issue. Does he now want to stay if he gets offered a contract after Fifita withdrew? Not good for his mental health. The club has really messed up badly. . Monumental stuff up. Bad for moral and makes us look like complete idiots to the public and players. This could affect moral this year.

So the Roosters gave all that "pastoral" care to Crichton last year, thanks to the club it wasn't palliative care. I'd rather have two Reggies in the back row if meant they had club loyalty.

FFS, everyone has issues in their lives, some more than others. Crichton had his last year, it’s been dealt with, the club supported him which is terrific, he’s come out the other side of it so let’s just all move on. The bottom line is that we need him at the club, fit and performing, because right now he’s the best in the business. Let’s not forget this is a business where results matter, so a couple of Reggie’s in the back row won’t be good for business, and eventually for those that manage the business. Also, let’s not forget that loyalty goes both ways, just ask Sitili and plenty of others moved on from the club.

He seems to be still considering playing rugby in France, based on the articles I have seen. - He needs to decide one way or the other so discussions/negotiations can commence if he wants to continue playing NRL - That's what I take from Coach Robinson's water under the bridge comments

Coach Robinson doesn't have a major role in recruitment as he said - only steps in when required - That's why they have a recruitment department

Has it been confirmed that players have been told they can look elsewhere - the so called Journo that started this also said that Sitili was on 650k.

Crichton has to tell the club he wants to continue playing NRL as he has been talking about playing Rugby in France and was rumoured to have signed a lucrative deal prior to the start of the 2024 NRL Season.

On one hand Crichton is saying no one has spoken to him and on the other he's saying that he will take his time to make a "smart decision"

If there's an opportunity that makes sense (elsewhere), then I'll definitely look at it.
