Yeah let’s go with both Butchers instead FFS. He made a few mistakes in what was a difficult week for him; at least he was trying his guts out. Do we drop everyone that made mistakes?Originally posted by Keith View PostHe shouldn’t be in first grade next week.
Coach needs to do coach things .

He had a shocker last night, but i'd back him to bounce back next weekOriginally posted by Jacks Fur Coat View PostGod some of you lot are fickle. Gus was getting raps as one of the form players of the comp, SOO contention etc. as of COB last week. Now you want to hang him after one loss?

Angus was great in the first half
dropped a couple of ball many players dropped balls and missed tackles
Gus still did a lot more then the butchers so we don’t have much else
also Gus had had the odd trouble over time with dropped balls but we still need him on the edge

Has Angus indicated to the club that he wants to be here next year? If that is the case, and the club are keeping him waiting, then that would play on his mind.
Or has the club made him an offer, but Angus is waiting for more options from other clubs or codes?
for a player that can take offers, this is being played out poorly. The club needs to stand up here and give him an offer, or tell him he is not wanted next year. This is turning into latrell levels of will he or won’t he stay.

He showed that he wasn’t happy with the Fifita signing and believed he was signed to take his position (I’m not playing behind anyone…..to me that indicates he wants to be here next year). He also said that the coach nor anyone at the club spoke with him after the signing so that he understands where he stands at the club, which I think is odd. Would he have aired his grievances publicly if he wasn’t concerned and didn’t want to be here next year? Whether we like him exploring other options or not, or airing his concerns publicly, this still would have made it a rough week from his point of view. It did for me and I’m not directly impacted. I think we saw Angus trying too hard at times last night and the pressure got to him with uncharacteristic errors.Originally posted by milanja View Post

Your point is correct though, club needs to stand up here and give him an offer, or tell him he is not wanted next year.
