Possibly, but we would be sacrificing a big body which may be a problem, especially if it’s a gritty game or if we are kept in our own half due to ill-discipline.

I don’t see that as an issue, a lot of our middles are capable of big minutes and Watson has shown he can play 80 defending in the middle as well.

The only question for me is can you justify leaving Terrell May or Nafahu Whyte out of the 17 at the moment.

Watson is killing it, and should be the NSW 14. The reason for that is because if you don't have an injury, there is still a very clear way to get him into the game. Usually NSW pick their utility and just throw them on with 10 minutes to go and expect them to win the game, because there is no natural place to interchange them if there is no injury.

But yeah, Watson has had an outstanding year. Gonna be very interesting who we field at full-strength. Whatever players miss out, they could feel a little hard done by.

He’s made for it.

He's good enough but IMO they should pick Cam Murray, Campbell Graham, Kaluah-mytongueie, Cook, Latrell, Wighton, Cody Walker...etc as they all combine so well at club level.

Side note, I wouldn't wanna see Des' 'carnts who don't get it and even when [they] do get it, [they] go back to what doesn't work...' drop to the bottom. Souffs look better there.
