Curious how you value a player like Sam - factoring in the market, his position, potential, current skillset etc.

It’s a tough one; personally I think $1M is considerably overs for him right now, but where is the sweet spot to reflect his projected improvement vs the current return on investment.

With the lack of quality halves on the market, I suspect close to 1 mil is what he’s going to get. That seems to be the going price nowadays for a quality half

We have all the money to keep Sam, only way he leaves is if he wants out or if we don’t want him, no one will outbid us. He won’t be going anywhere imo.
