Russell Crowe lit the fuse when he took over souths saying he hopes we win every wooden spoon. It was terrific theatre and to his credit he is smart and has ignited an old feud.
I used to feel sorry for them when they were like an rsl team. Growing up I hated St George bulldogs. Then it was manly in the mid 90s and then the dogs after that. I’ve hated souths since Crowe took over and it hasn’t ever wavered. I suppose it never will.
