  • 6 things after watching the replay

    - The brilliance of Jennings in getting the pass to Angus to score after the Lomax error. When he picked the loose ball up he was carrying it in his left arm, and was tackled on his left side, so couldn't move his left arm, so he flicked the ball towards his right hand, then batted it to Angus. He did it so smooth, it looked like a standard right to left pass. All class.

    - Connor Watson had a cracking game again, and is a much better player than I thought he was.

    - Cheese was excellent again.

    - For all the criticism he cops on here, Egan Butcher is a very good footballer, and doesn't cost a heap so is great value for money, and should be kept. The same for Nat, of course.

    - The unearthing of another Mitchell-like foul play hate filled dog, in Tyrell Sloan. The kick to the face of Walker in front of the touch judge, how is that not in the bin? He full on intentionally kicked him in the face. But let go because he's indigenous. On Anzac Day. Sickening. What did he do to Keary? Was it when Keary scored? And all he gets is 2 x $1000 fines?

    - Walkers goal kicking length. A couple of years ago his kicks from the sideline sometimes wouldn't even make the distance. Yesterday the conversion from the Joey Manu try in the 2nd half, from the touchline, he kicked it and it was still in the air after the dead ball line. Also, he must be signed for life and never allowed to leave.

I agree with every other word you wrote in this post, but let's cut this shit out shall we?

I believe it's true. So no I won't cut it out. You have your opinion. I can have mine. We can disagree.

Agree with everything you have said, Egan Butcher has a big future ahead of him, I reckon he will be taking over Angus spot next year, also Connor Watson is exactly what we have been missing the last couple of years.

yeah, that pass from jenko to angus was something else. maybe hunt knocked it on, maybe he didn't - it's possible that jenko pulled that rabbit out of the hat on the first tackle. hope he gets back sooner rather than later. and yeah, walker's goal kicking was top shelf. the bloke's a ball whisperer.
but yeah,i agree with witty - bbr is jumping at shadows. the nrl don't know their racial arse form their elbow (witness their muck up with leniu). every chance they think he's a sikh or an amerindian. sloan's kick was definitely worth a penalty - and a fine - but there was too much doubt about intent for it to be worth a binning - and a suspension.

I was impressed with Jenning's awareness and anticipation when Lomax was tackled, he didn't immediately run back to the D line but sense there's something will happened. The rest is history

Very happy with Jennings. Is he signed up for a contract? A year or two I would think. His experience is inspiring the team.
