I think it’s because they use good foot work at the line and obviously have strength. Compare that to Collins who runs flat stick into the line and has not foot work in my opinion. As a result Lindsay gets whacked a lot and doesn’t consistently break the line.

Noel Cleal wasn't a goalkicker-not at the Roosters anyway. I remember Ron Giteau was the goalkicker in those days- one of the first around the corner style kickers at a time when there were still many "toe pokers"
