Tyreece Tait with a beautiful 80m try, burnt 3 or 4 Dogs players.

28-18 to the Dogs with 4mins to go

Tyreece Tait with another break down the left edge finds Toy this time.

28 - 22 to the Dogs with 2mins to go

Lol the slowest play the ball of the game on last tackle and ref still hasn't been able to find a penalty for the Roosters since the 11th minute.

      Dogs win it 28-22.

Conti's kicking game for the Dogs in second half the difference.

Feel like Roosters got caught up too much in playing catch up footy, the 2 weeks off also seemed to do them no good.

Hoping we get to see more of Tait, Rodwell, Va'a & Steep this year. They have been my standouts from the games I have seen. Impressed by Elliott today as well.

        Thanks for the updates Rooster_6.

Seems like it could have been a cut and paste job from the first grade games.

The bias against the Roosters and the dumb mistakes apparently goes all the way down.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Anyone know the final score in the NSW Cup game ? The NSWRL site hasn't updated the final result.

24-20 Roosters... Parra had momentum in last 10mins but resilient chooks withstood their repeat attacks to seal a hard fought win.

Has he set a goal of when he wants to make first grade ?

Hugo Savala had another good game in reggies.

                      SG Ball Highlights: https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2024/0...p-semi-finals/

Tyreece Tait try at the 2:25 mark.

He runs the 100m sprint in 11 seconds flat and is tipped to be bumped up into the NRL 30 man squad next year.

Every time I’ve watched him I’ve like his all round game, he’s good under the high ball, he takes good aggressive carries and he makes good decisions after he’s broken the line. He’s only 18 so still eligible for SG Ball next year but I would suggest he’ll be moved up to Jersey Flegg or NSW Cup in the coming weeks and will probably stay there now until he gets a debut.

I'm sure he'd be happy to get through a game with whatever minutes he's given, & the body is intact. Hopefully build from here some more match fitness & put in some good performances.

There is definitely plans & discussions with the hierarchy but he knows, that FG goal atm, is not the immediate focus... staying fit & healthy, & playing good consistent footy for the nswcup roosters is the job in front of him.

I expected our reserve grade to be really strong now that half of the squad don't have to play for Norths.

except all the decent ones from last years stayed with Norths.....
They even stole some of our better ones like Riley Meyn

I could see someone like Allan Fitzgibbon going well if given a chance by the Storm

There was only 3 players from our first grade squad available for yesterday’s game.
