Glad he wasn’t. Can’t wait see him live and I want to beat their best team not an under strength side.

Like to know what he has done to not being picked IMO better than Egan and Sitili

He's just one of them players that even though he's not a Roosters you cant help but like him, what a player he is & to come back from the injuries he's had is incredible.
The Tigers must be in the fetal position every time he plays. Again Melbourne see something in a player that the club he is junior at cant see.

Max McCathie is a Scots old boy and eastern suburbs local. He came through our junior pathways

To be fair we are the ones who screwed the Tigers there they let Papenhuyzen go because Teddy was their fullback then they lost Teddy.

So the Klown as ref whilst Gee in the directors seat.

Not sure about Jenko's fitness, but gee this backline doesn't look too bad. I just hope Keary steps up a notch.

Actually our record under both is better than our overall win percentage. Melbournes is worse under both.

                      Go figure.

Yep gotta be careful what you wish for. Forget which round but we had that random ranga (Todd Smith? Looks and sounds like he should be a demented kid from the Simpsons). He was the worst because he was completely incompetent and the bunker (who was one of the dudes we all love to hate) overturned him on multiple occasions.

IMO the NRL views us as a sophisticated team so we always get Klein, Gee and Sutton (who are seen as being the senior refs). We might even ask for them!

I dunno. I hate the guys but there's about 5 new youngsters (who I've never seen reffing our games) that are reffing other games this week.

To me reffing's a highly technical role and all the rule changes / crackdowns must make it a complete shyte. At one end of the spectrum you get hopeless so and so's like Toddie who make constant errors and lose control of the game. On the other end you have a Klein/Sutton who's gonna micro-manage the shyte outta games and jig their shoddy calls so that when they don't know, the bunker's gonna have to back them by saying 'no conclusive evidence'.

Klein, Sutton and Gee are all guys who have superior knowledge of the rules to me and they're the best we've got. They deserve my dude meme... 'you're not wrong, you're just an arsehole, man...'

Brain says we're gonna get whooped but heart says we're up for a big game.

Bill Harrigan was the best ref I've seen. He seemed to always be in control.... Then again, the rules and style of play were much better than as well, which probably made it easier for the refs. While the administrators stuck to the admin and didn't interfere with the fabric of the gama ala PVL.

Seems like he will have to wait until injury inevitably hits the team before we see him in firsts again.
Respectfully, you haven't been watching NSW Cup if you think Wong hasn't produced quality work. He has been absolutely outstanding, carrying a young team and attracting plenty of attention. His leg speed and post-contact metres are excellent. He is playing lock rather than edge but he is the most mobile back-rower in the squad and would do a better job than Jennings at centre IMO. I know he is suspended but it is getting frustrating seeing Robbo stick with Sitili who is clearly out of form and even Egan Butcher. Wong is 21 and needs time in the top grade. If anything, Sitili would benefit from a freshen in NSW Cup to rediscover his best running form.
