IMO the best we played last year was with Keary and Sandon Smith. Walker too similar to Keary including weaknesses. I understand the hype of Walker and the reputation of Keary but fmd we are destined to spend two more years with players that can't kick further than 30m. Brandon Smith has joined them with his 30m kicks early in the tackle count from deep inside our own territory.

Sorry, but that’s a ludicrous statement. Walker has consistently put his body on the line in defence, ang he is usually one of the first to chase in cover.

I think you are confusing Sam Walker with Dom Young. I can see why. They look very similar.

Eh, can’t keep them all.. Sam Walker is our future and as good as strange has looked I dare say Walker was even more impressive when he first came onto the scene.. I have full faith the club will find the right half partner for when keary retires so no need to cry I’ve spilt milk… good luck to strange but we have lost far bigger talent in the past and will lose way better talent in the future.

True. We have a few top players mixed in with very ordinary - mediocre ones. With another exit of top players most who are irreplaceable, our mediocre players will dominate the team until we can rebuild. Isn’t Toups leaving too? And still no long kicker which is putting us at a huge disadvantage.

Not in my opinion I didn’t say he didn’t put his body on the line he just isn’t big enough to be effective. If you want a good example of what I am taking about have a good look at the Manly game

Both good players - Beniah captained the SG Ball team last year as well - Alan Holton is another good rake too - Be hard to keep them all though
