  • The no try defined the game

Well , when they came up with that outrageous decision to overturn Manu's try I turned it off and went to bed.
All the 6 agains for whatever reason were also doing my head in.
That's the last time I attempt to watch a game live again until they fix these unfair rules.

Come on Eddie. That's a very childish attitude. It was terrible and ruined the game but the Roosters will endure.

I only watch the game to see the Roosters endure.
I hate so many of these modern rules like 6 again, golden point and the bunker in general.
Watching live is too stressful, it's bad for my health.

Fair enough. The NRL sure know how to screw up a great sport. I felt like the coverage last night was pre planned to focus on Geyer winning on debut.

I record the game or watch it on delay through Foxtel. My ticker can't cope with the stress.

That way I can fast forward through the bits I don't like eg: bunker referrals, half time etc.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Roosters just have to play a lot BETTER.

The no try could have been a no try because of Luai was more the concern but like last week.. don’t let yourself become a factor. JWH got lazy and got used.
I think panthers got away with a defensive line impede.
Even Sitilli grounding was sus to me. Could’ve gone either way.
Roosters need a bigger boot and a bigger body in the halves.
              One spot player is enough.
              I also

If it did then that's our own fault.

Afterwards we had repeat sets on their line, coughed the ball up and let that flog of a right winger they've got start piling on the tries as if he's a Manu/Toops/Young/Sua'ali'i...etc grade back.

I'm over the game. Wasn't to be... s*x when a game like this is so early in the week as it means we have to wait a loooong time for our next game.

Not that it matters now but Annusley has said that the bunker got the Manu no try call wrong. Make of it what you will. We didn't deserve the win, but the reality is that if that call along with the one where Sitili was obstructed were both called correctly than Roosters win on the scoreboard. Officials mistakes shouldn't be allowed to define the result of any game in any sport. And I don't cop the you win some, you lose some argument. That is a cop out from the people benefiting from the error.

Let’s not hide from the realisation that we never in the hunt.

Penrith’s line speed was best I have ever witnessed

We lost the ruck 99% of the time

Sualli is awful in defence and is extremely lucky Billy Smith gets injured every time he eats breakfast

Toupanua was ineffective in attack and defence.. ( please bring in Crichton )

Keary played and ran without confidence. You can’t he small, timid and slow at this level ( again, thankful S Smith is injured )

Under pressure we have no long kicker

Let’s be thankful ( and hopeful) that we learnt where we need to be, in Round 4, than Round 24…

What should they do? Overturn the result of the game and make it that we won? Mistakes will always happen.
