I went to school with Jack.
I don't think he's there yet but keep watching him, he's only learning to play in the halves.
I know the boys laugh at Braith. Imagine being in the club and having to watch the replays and seeing him do nothing but still captain and still getting payed alot and keeping others out of the side. Mortimer and Braith will indicate what a Newton halves pairing could do.

I know the boys think Morts has been given a poisoned pill. He is not meant to be the chief playmaker. He would have loved to have played in the 6 alongside Pearce. He will get exposed imo.

An interesting hypothesis:

Could Bwaiff possibly sabotage Mortimer's game in some way to ensure that he doesn't take his precious ( jersey).

Think about it, maybe he'll push an unnecessary pass in the game or something. Bwaiff would know that unless Morts has a blinder then his spot is safe, so why take the risk of letting him have a blinder.
