How rigged was that game though, Wigan player clearly short of the line yet the Ref calls it...and Panthers score on the bell which looked more likely than the Wigan try...the ref calls no try.
Too much money in the game now..therefore too much rigging. Don't know why i bother with this game anymore.

Didn't see the full game but just caught some lights. Those two tackles by Jai Field on Taylan May were brilliant. The first one made the "famous" Sattler tackle on Toddy Burn look pedestrian. And love the British commentator, very exciting, leaves ours for dead.

In a man of match performance Bevan French playing 5/8 carved the panthers up and exposed their left side minus Lui and Crighton.
panthers did get robbed though and should have won
Aw, the game wasn't a Penrith park...where people have suggested to me that Panthers seem to get very favourable treatment.
'Every good decision going', one said.

I saw a hand always under the ball in the one at the end of the game.
The other one deserved a try.
Panthers didn't score a point in he second half. Letting Crichton go was madness.
Anyone who thinks Edwards is a better FB than Teddy needs to sit on a chair in a darkened room and think about it more seriously.
I thought the ref overshadowed this. His on-field rulings on the 'tries' also determined the game as the video ref was never going to have enough evidence to overturn.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Penrith lost.. I can't stand them and it takes some shine off their 3peat. The Roosters are the last NRL World Champs too, which make it sweeter. But it was a hard watch. At stages I felt like I could flick over to WWE and see less wrestling. The ruck was sooooo slow. Wigan were given way too much leniency.
Errr....not anymore....Wigan now have 5 plus lost 4....making them the world's greatest team.
And given that either Wigan & St Helens are usually EPL champs it's only a matter of time Wigan are outright leaders.
Greatest because they have lost 4?
Only 4 uk teams have played in the world club challenge, compared to 14 from the NRL, Wigan make it so many times by default, we have beaten them twice.
chooks are the only team that have won five and never lost one, Penrith on the other hand have played in 4 and lost all of them.

Panthers lost, boo hoo and sob.
According to the newspapers the Bulldogs have signed Stephen Crichton for $800k per season can you believe that? They must be giving away cars to family members at the leagues club raffles again to get a 23 year old player of his quality for as low as $800k a year.
As great as he is you have to wonder how much motivation there is to keep the high standards at a bottom club for a player who has won 3 premierships and taken his tiny nation of Samoa to a world cup final all at 23 years old

The Roosters are the best team in the world club challenge history not only are we 5 wins from 5 matches but the contests are often one sided affairs with 2 of the wins against Wigan:
1975: 25-2 vs St Helens
2003: 38-0 vs St Helens
2014: 36-14 vs Wigan
2019: 20-8 vs Wigan
2020: 20-12 vs St Helens This was the only match that was a real contest with a real possibility that the Roosters were in danger of losing.

Robbed?
They got done dry with the rough end of a burning pineapple.
