So long as we get to about 30 pts I'm happy.
26 rounds and we're on 10 after 10 (well really 14 because there's 2 byes to come.) 50% of the remaining 24 games and we're on 26, so we need to win just over 50% of our games.
If I remember rightly when we made the GF the start was WLWLWL...etc then we had a big winning streak at the end.
IMO 8/14 is gonna be tough. We need to win 4 or 5 in a row if we wanna play finals footy IMO.
The positive is that if we keep playing like this we'll probably do it. Maybe?
Manly, Bulldogs, Broncos, Tigers, Manly, Sharks, Rabbits, Panthers, Titans, Eels, Merge, Raiders, Tigers, Bulldogs is all we've got left. Only positive there is that we'll be playing some of these teams during Origin, and we get some tough teams out of the way all at once.
If we can roll:
- Manly (once... the home game)
- The Vermin
- Tigers
- Panthers
- Raiders (if they have any players left)
- Eels
Then we're in trouble, basically needing to win our last 2 games. Sounds impossible but rather than saying "it's too hard coz they're good" we really need to step up. We SHOULD NOT LOSE to the easy teams (Eels, Panthers, Raiders, Vermin) so that leaves 10 more games.
Manly, Dogs, Tigers, Broncos then Manly again if we wanna play finals footy IMO and next week is where it starts. Lose more than 3 of those and our chances become mathematical...
